During the semester, an opportunity to get to know New Zealand from a 360-degree experiencing perspective and enjoy indigenous Kiwi life during the semester. Choose from around 100 subjects Massey offers for study abroad students and take the chance to deepen your New Zealand experience by taking one of Massey’s specialist courses – from Māori language to New Zealand history.

Get an internship opportunity by taking “Communication Internship” as a regular Massey course for no additional cost.

Develop good study practices and examination skills from the Centre for Teaching and Learning, which offers regular workshops as well as individual consultations.

Housing

All three Massey campuses provide well facilitated accommodation. As a Massey student, you can apply to live in a Massey hall of residence, apartment or studio unit, or with a family in homestay accommodation, or find your own flat.

Massey Halls are Massey’s own accommodation facilities, aiming to give you the best student experience support during your university years. These Halls have dedicated staff to help navigate your priorities, connect you with other residents and encourage you to join the many events and activities that are available.

Massey Halls are situated either on campus or within a short walking distance of the University. Everything you need is nearby, such as shops, restaurants, etc.

Massey Halls are safe and secure, with key fob security access to buildings. There is a security team that does regular checks through the day and night.

APA recommends submitting your application anytime from June to October for Semester 1, and from November to April for Semester 2.

Studying toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree at your home university now

Have completed at least one year of university study, or an associate degree

Have a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (about the same as a B)

No language prerequisite if English is the first language of your home country

Application fee: $100 (non-refundable)

Program fee: $10,800 (including tuition, admission fee, and others)

Housing fee: $2,950 – $4,550

Students can get 5% off if the application is complete one month prior to the deadline.
