How It Works?

We know organizing an education abroad program takes a lot of work — that’s where we come in!

We’ll handle the planning, logistics, and academic details, so you can then focus on teaching, leading, and enjoying the journey with your students.

Stage I
  • The Faculty or Study Abroad/Global Education Office submits a request to APA.
  • A proposal developer from APA will follow up within 1–2 days if additional details are needed.
  • A fully customized proposal will be delivered to you within 2–4 weeks.
  • Once approved, APA will work closely with you on the vendor setup and agreement process.
Stage II
  • Upon request, APA can assist with student recruitment by attending your institution’s Education Abroad fair virtually or in person, creating promotional materials and supporting outreach efforts.
  • To ensure smooth program delivery, APA begins early logistical and academic preparations, including booking accommodations and transportation, coordinating with local academic partners to align with your academic goals, and managing visa, health and safety, and pre-departure requirements.
  • Prior to departure, APA’s Program Manager or on-site staff can join the pre-departure orientation to address any questions or concerns from both faculty/staff leaders and students.
Stage III
  • APA staff provide on-the-ground support, ensuring smooth program delivery and addressing any logistical or academic issues.
  • Continuous coordination with local partners ensures that courses, field visits, and cultural activities align with your academic objectives.
  • Faculty and students have access to 24/7 support for emergencies, transportation, and any unforeseen challenges while in-country.
Stage IV
  • APA facilitates program wrap-up, including collecting feedback from faculty and students.
  • APA assists with post-program reflection sessions, helping faculty evaluate the experience and plan improvements for future programs.
