Scholarships

The APA Financial Support

APA believes that international programs can broaden students’ perspectives by adapting to the globalized world by experiencing an intercultural study environment. Therefore, APA offers various scholarship programs to create opportunities and enable more students to study abroad in Asia-Pacific.

BEGIN AGAIN ASIA-PACIFIC (BAAP) Scholarships

COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on all aspects of life. Study abroad programs have been canceled or postponed. Many international education organizations and study abroad-related programs at institutions have faced restructuring and layoffs due to global disruptions. As a result, billions of people have been severely affected. To support institutions, families, and students eager to begin again with their international studies in 2023-2024, APA offers scholarships to students participating in international programs, that work with APA, with priority on destinations in the Asia Pacific.

APA TO YOU (APTU) Scholarships

APA TO YOU Scholarships are a need-based scholarships granted by APA each year to students on study abroad programs. Scholarship selection is based on academic performance, community involvement, financial need, and inclusion in traditionally underrepresented communities in study abroad programs, whether or not those programs are working with APA.

Eligibility and Participant

Eligibility will be prioritized for participants in international programs that were planned or will be planned to visit the Asia Pacific.

Open to application by faculty-led study abroad, international internship, language study, and semester-long program participants.
