Studying Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will get to experience a multicultural city full of life. UniKL offers the International Student Exchange Mobility (ISEM) Program to expose inbound and outbound students to the best of international community, cultures, and practices beyond their boundaries. UniKL International Buddies is an initiative that connects international exchange students with UniKL students in order for the students to be more positively engaged with UniKL. These Buddies are experienced UniKL students who volunteer their time to help you adapt to life at UniKL.

Participate APA’s off-campus components, including excursions to other cities in Malaysia, optional internship, APA community events, volunteering opportunities, and alumni networking.
Stay on track for your degree. Credits will be transferred to your home university.

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is Malaysia`s leading government linked university of engineering technology which aims to produce global enterprising professionals by providing a world class technical education and an enriching university experience.
Since its inception on 20th August 2002, UniKL has seen a rapid expansion to be one of the universities of choice in Malaysia spearheading the generation of knowledge in higher technical, vocational education and training (HTVET).
With the concept of “One Institute, One Specialization”, UniKL at present has 12 campuses strategically located all over Peninsular Malaysia, with its Chancellery situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. These 12 campuses are equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities, emphasizing on applied and experiential learning, reinforced by innovative research and global linkages with industries.
Currently, UniKL offers over 130 programmes from Foundation to Doctoral level.
UniKL offers hundreds of courses in English include disciplines from 50 departments. You can take 9 UniKL credits (about 3 courses) to 18 credits. On average, each UniKL course is about 3 credits (similar to 2.5 U.S. university credits). Some courses require previous study in the subject or in related disciplines.
To make sure a smooth credit transfer after the program, APA suggests your course selections should be approved by your home university before registering courses. Syllabi could be provided in advance upon request.
APA recommends submitting your application anytime from June for the Spring semester, and from January for the Fall semester. APA may consider late applications if the deadline has passed.

Application fee: $120 (Counted to your total program fee. The fee is not refundable except for cases of application failure or program cancellation.)
Program fee: $7,850 for most courses. (Include tuition, on-campus course(s), off-campus components, and housing)
Program fee varies if students register courses at School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Health Sciences
APA may have arrangements with off-campus accommodation providers to cater to students’ needs. Kindly note that some of the UniKL campuses are situated in the heart of the city, with some private housing options within walking distance. It is conveniently accessible to amenities and transportation networks.

APA offers scholarships to students studying abroad in the Asia-Pacific region. The APA TO YOU Scholarship is a need-based scholarship granted by APA each year to students on study abroad programs. Students are welcome to apply for the scholarship. APA prioritizes students who participate APA programs.
